What to do in SUMMER?
In summer, Ushuaia is characterized by having the longest day in the southern hemisphere. With 18 hours of sunlight, there is a diversity of contact activities with nature: hiking with the possibility of knowing mountain lagoons with the extraordinary panoramic views of Ushuaia and its surroundings; overflights, horseback riding, diving, fishing, mountain biking, canopy , kayaking, canoes and the fascinating Antarctica await to be visited.
12 km from the city, is the Tierra del Fuego National Park that preserves about 70,000 hectares of Patagonian forest that invite you to enjoy walks through varied landscapes in contact with nature. Inside it, there is the Post Office of the End of the World where you can stamp your passport as a souvenir.
The Train of the End of the World offers a tour with spectacular views of the mountains, forests and waterfalls in the traditional steam train, while allowing to know its history.

In the traditional navigation on the Beagle Channel you will be able to see the archipelago in which the diverse Fuegian fauna inhabits: the Magellan penguins on the Hammer Island, the Isla de los Lobos, Isla de los Pájaros and the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse.
The visit to the Escondido and Fagnano Lakes offers a day out of the city, crossing the Andes Mountains. It can be done in a mini bus or on a trip in modern 4×4 vehicles.
The hike to the Emerald Lagoon is one of the most popular activities. The color of the water makes everyone who visits Ushuaia want to meet her.
